We stayed here for one day and had to leave due to personal reasons, Ken (General Manager) was the best, he went above and beyond and refunded the remaining couple of days worth charge. The entire staff were very helpful and Ken was amazing.
We had a great stay! You can’t beat the location and for the price - ski in/out on snowmass mountain?! A dream! The staff were so kind and accommodating and the breakfast was great. The hotel itself is older but it’s well taken care of. The room was very cozy and clean. The beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows. The bathrooms are small but clean and have everything you need. Again, the pool and hot tub are older but clean and taken care of. It was perfect for a ski trip. We would definitely stay again!
For a non-skiing stay the 2 best things about the hotel are 1) it’s pet friendly and 2) the delicious, freshly cooked breakfast that’s included, created by the friendly and talented Catalina who ensures a dramatic upgrade from classic American budget hotel breakfast buffets. The hotel itself is very dated but clean and superbly located for skiing. Good to have a comparably affordable place in such a fabulous location. Also maps sent us wrongly to the back of the hotel so just fyi.
The breakfast and lunch service is amazing. The food is delicious and my entire family absolutely loves the Mount Chalet. And every morning we come for breakfast altogether and meet up at lunch and the food is excellent.
It is a super nice hotel it is a little older but it is super clean it has great service and a super delicious breakfast... it has a latte machine that makes great lattes and fresh squeezed orange juice that is awesome
Beautiful Sweet getaway weekend getaway facing mountains side and Aspen Valley. Breakfast is Great and satisfying with Fruits-Expresso machine-Outside Breakfast patio facing valley. Rooms are comfy and beds are perfect. Pool and jacuzzi at night is Best! Parking recommend on level 5 parking level So not too walk too far or steep hill. Sunrise is best with Coffee Gorgeous valley views and Aspen mini mall 2 min walk away with Open patio bars-Restaurants-Sports retailers and German restaurant-bar with open patio facing mountain side.
It's an older buidling, shows it's age with the wear and tear. The ease of ski in and out was worth it. Food served was hot and pretty good; unlimited hot cocoa and coffee. Fresh OJ was outstanding. My only complaint was the human depression on one side of the mattress.
Wonderful place, wonderful service. We hiked over from crested butte and got in a bind with transportation. The staff saved our butts and we're happy and willing to make our trip here successful. I don't often feel like a tourist in my own state...but when I do...I'm SO thankful to find people like this that are happy to help. Come stay here! Tell your friends!
